Sports Massage Blends...

Use before exercise as it helps to warm up the muscles and to help protect both muscles and ligaments during exercise. Used after exercise it helps to relieve sore, swollen or bruised skin and helps sore muscles or ligaments.  

The name says it all! Deeply penetrating and soothing herbal blends for all the aches and pains we endure. This is great massage blend for relief from fatigue and stiffness, with just the right ingredients to add a slightly euphoric aroma.

Contains:- Fractionated Coconut and Grape seed blends infused with organic Calendula flowers, Vitamin E oil, and a blend of Lavender, Juniper, Peppermint, Black Pepper, Cinnamon and Wintergreen pure essential oils.

Sports Massage blends based on the ever popular and highly effective Injure-Heal oil. Suitable for use on bruises, strains, general aches, and after strenuous exercise. A wonderful way to treat your sore and exhausted body, and is best reserved for times of "severe need.”

Anti-Bacterial :-
A combination of Essential Oils with high anti-bacterial properties. The synergy will be of smaller quantity as it's only essential oils, nothing else. Just use a 16 oz. spray bottle, use 1/3 white distilled vinegar, 1/3 alcohol (vodka or rubbing alcohol work fine) and 1/3 purified water, with about 3 drops of dish soap (like liquid castile soap). Shake that up, and add about one tablespoon of this essential oil blend and shake again.  

Compounded with essential oils that were historically associated with pain relief and elimination of toxins, this essential oil blend is premixed in our massage base and can be used to massage into painful joints without further dilution or a cap full can be added to a warm bath. Lavender and Petit grain in our Massage Base Oil (Almond, Grape seed and Jojoba). Use straight from bottle for energizing & invigorating massage or rub on after bath or shower to moisturize skin or add capful to warm bath to uplift and energize spirit. Of course a full body massage, using an ounce or so works wonders.

Sports Massage blend :-

Sports Massage blend is an intensive form of massage that aims to address the cause of pain and dysfunction. Through slow strokes and deep finger pressure the Massage Therapist uses a combination of soft tissue techniques including trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and stretching, exercise prescription to relieve pain or soreness, improve joint movement and assist the body’s natural healing process.

However, accidents, repetitive actions, poor posture and everyday stresses can form permanent, sometimes painful, tension in our muscles. Even worse, around any painful site, muscles automatically contract to support and protect the area. Any tight muscle can’t hold much fluid which means reduced circulation and accumulation of irritating waste products. Over time, areas with poor circulation form trigger points.

Trigger points are highly irritable spots (commonly called knots) that can refer pain elsewhere in the body. For example, a trigger point in your hip can refer pain down your leg.

Through therapeutic massage, muscle tension and trigger points can be relieved allowing circulation to return bringing with it healing nutrients and oxygen to the area. A deeply relaxing massage can provide a much needed break to everyday stresses helping to calm your nerves and allowing muscles throughout your body to let go and relax.

There are many good base oils and blended massage oils on the market these days. However they may not be ideal for individual skin types and conditions, which require special blends of oils. Massage oils are more like prescriptions than just simple lubricants. I believe that prescribing massage oils for each client is the way forward. You can do this in many ways, at the very minimum I would suggest that, as a minimum, you make up base massage oil blend for each skin type, and then add different essential oils and active ingredients to suit the client's personal preferences and/or skin conditions.

Mixing the different vegetable oils can create a blend of oils that is better suited to the particular purpose for which it is intended than the simple use of one or other oil. Get to know the different oils and their characteristics. This prescription approach would definitely yield better massage results as well as customer satisfaction than simply using a standard vegetable oil blend for all of your clients.

For a long time people have used natural oils and fats for skin, health care and massage. These cannot be replaced by the synthetic 'oils' extracted from petroleum.
